Polycrystalline Diamond Dies

Polycrystalline Diamond dies offer a high resistance to wear and an excellent wire surface finish. These dies can be used in ferrous and non-ferrous wire drawing applications. VPD manufactures PCD wire drawing dies that can be used for a wide range of drawing applications.

We manufacture PCD Dies in the size range of 0.050–2.500 mm.

There are two types of PCD blanks

A) Self-Supported PCD Blanks
B) Tungsten Carbide Supported PCD Blanks.

The available grain sizes are 1,3, 5, 10, 25 & 50 microns.

The PCD blanks are purchased from well-known manufacturers like M/s Hyperion (Formerly Diamond Innovations / GE), and other reputed blank manufacturers etc.

This material has highly predictable die wear, thermal stability with high resistance to fracturing. All these characteristics offer cost efficiency with less downtime. VPD dies uncompromising quality assurance methods provide trouble-free performance from installation to re-cutting.

Our PCD dies are widely accepted by different wire drawing Wet and Dry Stainless steel, Low and High Carbon Steel, Welding wire, Copper & Aluminium conductors, EDM, Tungsten, Molybdenum, Coated and alloy wires etc.
